Flag Football (5K - 3rd Grade) 2024

Flag Football
Flag Football is offered to children that attend the Columbus School District, Columbus School Choice participants, Fall River area, and private schools within the Columbus School District area. (Out of district players will not be accepted to play within our organization) who will be entering K5 thru 3rd grade for the 2024-2025 school year. You will still need to register online through our website at www.columbusfootball.net. Our Flag Football registration is free this year. Each player will need a reversible Columbus jersey and flags. If you don't have one from the prior year, you will need to purchase those for $20.00 during your registration. (PLEASE SIGN YOUR CHILD UP FOR THE GRADE THEY WILL BE IN DURING THE 2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR)

The Flag Football season will start September 4 and end mid-October. All registrations received after June 30, 2024, will incur a $10.00 late fee.

We are always looking for coaches and parents willing to help. Please indicate on your registration if you are interested in coaching and someone from CFO will reach out to you.

Columbus Tackle Football 2024

Padded Flag
Padded Flag is offered to players entering 4th and 5th grades that attend the Columbus School District, Columbus School Choice participants, and private schools within the Columbus School District area. (Out of district players will not be accepted to play within our organization due to our league rules) There will be games played against other communities. The cost of the program will be $90.00, which includes the use of a CFO supplied uniform. There will also be a $40.00 security deposit for equipment, volunteer work hours and fundraising requirements. Registration can be completed at https://www.columbusfootball.net. All registrations received after June 1, 2024, will incur a $10.00 late fee. Practice will start the beginning of August 12, with the season ending middle of October. 

Tackle Football
Tackle Football is offered to all players entering 6th, 7th and 8th graders that attend the Columbus School District, Columbus School Choice participants, and private schools within the Columbus School District area. (Out of district players will not be accepted to play within our organization due to our league rules) The cost of the program will be $90.00 (which includes the use of a CFO supplied uniform). All grade levels will have a $40.00 security deposit for equipment, volunteer work hours and fundraising requirements. All registrations received after June 1, 2024, will incur a $10.00 late fee. Practice will begin the beginning of August with the season ending the middle of October. 

Padded Flag & Tackle Football players are required to Fundraise.
Fundraising is an important aspect of our program and is required of all participants. The CFO also offers an opt-out option ($80.00) for those that don’t want to fundraise, and that option is offered on the online registration. If you fail to meet the fundraiser requirement, you will have additional fees to make up the difference.

Volunteering
The Columbus Football Organization is a non-profit organization. We rely on volunteers throughout the season to help make our program successful. For each child in our 4th - 8th grade program, our organization requires parents to pick up two volunteer shifts per player. In order to get your security deposit back at the end of the season, your volunteer and fundraising requirements must be met. New this year, we will be requiring all parents to complete their two shift per child minimum for volunteering hours, otherwise, you can pay a $100.00 opt out fee for volunteering.

Registration:
Fees for 4th - 8th grade is $90.00 plus a $40.00 security deposit, which is returned at the end of the season when equipment is turned in and Fundraiser and Volunteer shifts have been completed. We do offer a three-time payment plan when signing up where the cost is split between three payments (at time of registration, July 1 and again on August 1). All registration fees, including past season fees, need to be paid before the start of the season.
