Sign up for this falls youth tackle football will be on Saturday, May 19 at the Columbus High School from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.  The sign up will take place at the back entrance to the gym. The tackle football program is for students entering 4^th thru 8^th this fall.  The 4^th grade program is open to students in Columbus and Fall River area.  The 5^th thru 8^th grade teams are limited to Columbus School District residents only unless your community does not offer a tackle program or you are attending Columbus Schools thru school choice.   The D&JC league rules prohibit those players from participating.   Applications will be available May 8th from your flag football coach or you can go to our website, columbusfootball.net.  For additional information or questions you can email us at  columbusfootballorg@gmail.com

We are ordering new, more concussion resistant helmets for the 7^th and 8^th grade teams.  Due to the cost of these helmets we will be fitting players for their helmets on May19th.  It’s important that if you plan on playing in the fall you need to get fitted.  The Columbus Football Organization will provide financial help, if needed, through our scholarship program.  For more information contact Jeff Venden at 608-575-3021 or Jason Brunell at 608-444-7032.  All applications received after June 1, 2012 will be subject to a late fee.
